1. Web Developer

Location: Remote or Based in the Caribbean
Job Type: Full-time
Description:
We are looking for a talented web developer to help build, maintain, and improve the AgroConnect website and platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong understanding of modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and improve the functionality of the AgroConnect website

• Collaborate with our design and product teams to create user-friendly experiences

• Maintain and troubleshoot the website to ensure optimal performance

• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

• Assist with database management and integrations with third-party services

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

• Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js)

• Familiarity with web hosting environments and server management

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

2. Marketing and Communications Specialist

Location: Remote or Based in the Caribbean
Job Type: Full-time
Description:
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to drive the promotion of AgroConnect through various channels and build brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be experienced in digital marketing, content creation, and social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote AgroConnect’s brand and services

• Create engaging content for our website, blog, social media platforms, and email campaigns

• Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance

• Work with the design team to create compelling visuals and messaging

• Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, media, and partners

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing

• Strong writing and editing skills for various platforms (social media, blogs, email)

• Experience in running paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads)

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Knowledge of agricultural trends is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone

• Resolve customer issues related to account access, product listings, and platform navigation

• Maintain a customer satisfaction rating by ensuring exceptional service

• Collaborate with the development and product teams to report and resolve technical issues

• Educate users on how to maximize the benefits of the AgroConnect platform

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Patience and empathy in handling customer inquiries

• Experience with customer support tools and platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk)

• A passion for helping others and making a difference in the agricultural community
